DOJ Unveils New Online ADA Complaint Form
Late this spring, the Department of Justice (DOJ) made filing an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complaint easier, with the introduction of a new electronic ADA complaint form. The form is located on the DOJ website, and once it’s submitted filers immediately receive a reference number that can be used to check on the status of their complaint. ADA complaints are no longer accepted by e-mail, however they can still be submitted by US mail. To receive a paper complaint form, contact the DOJ’s ADA information line at (800) 514-0301. The new electronic form can be found at www.ada.gov/complaint.
