Hotels With Ceiling Track Lifts
Are there any hotels that have ceiling lifts? We can’t use a portable hoyer lift and need a ceiling track for bed and toileting.
Several properties in Las Vegas offer ceiling track lifts in some of their rooms.
The high needs accessible rooms at Treasure Island and the Luxor feature ceiling track lifts in the bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are also equipped with adjustable hospital beds, touch control lamps, and draperies you can control with the flick of a switch. The Wynn Resort also has two double queen rooms with ceiling track lifts.
Across the Pond, the Copthorne Tara in Kensington has two accessible rooms with ceiling track lifts. Other access features include an emergency call button by the bed, wide doors, a bedside control panel for lighting, open-frame beds, automatic doors and lowered environmental controls.
You may also run across some private rentals that have this feature because the owners need it, but for the most part ceiling track lifts are not usually found in hotels and motels.
